The Goosetown Astonishers perform every Thursday evening (8 - 10:30 p.m.) at the Cross Keys Tavern on Main Street in downtown Chillicothe. Known as the oldest continually playing Dixieland Band in the country (11 members when everybody shows up), the band has played continuously at the Tavern since sometime in 1973 (nobody's really sure of an exact starting date), making this their 38th year of performing there.
