Ruben is the driving force behind the Elvis Unplugged series, with years of experience as an actor, singer, teacher, and award-winning Elvis Tribute Artist. A love for education and entertainment, Ruben brings that enthusiasm with him to the stage, no matter how small or large the venue. Always a student, his experiences on the stage and the classroom have led him to seeking more about the subjects that he teaches. With Elvis Unplugged, Ruben has taken his Elvis tribute to a whole new level, combining his passion for learning, theater, and music. When not paying tribute to the King, Ruben also lends his voice and vocal talents to many voice over projects. You can hear him on video games, interactive storybooks, animated Christmas figures, cartoons, trailers, commercials, and training videos. Everything he brings to his performances is due to his many years as an actor, performing in straight plays and musicals for over 25 years. He was last seen as Lazar Wolf the Butcher in "Fiddler on the Roof" and Agustin Magaldi in "Evita". He is also a proud member of the classic radio troupe WREP (When Radio Entertained People), voicing famous characters such as The Great Gildersleeve and Kris Kringle in the radio version of "Miracle on 34th Street". Ruben is also an ordained minister, so if you need your wedding officiated or vows renewed, he'd love to be a part of it!
