DeAngelo Redman—is among a new breed of American R&B vocalists, songwriters and actors. His career recently took a meteoric leap when he appeared on the hit MTV realty series Making the Band 4, a program that allowed him to showcase his strong talent and win the hearts of fans around the world.
DeAngelo, emerged from a field of more than 10,000 hopefuls competing for the opportunity to make the reality show and earn one of the five spots in new band being formed by hip hop mogul Sean "P Diddy" Combs.
DeAngelo made it to the final round of contestants and appeared on “Making the Band 4's” live season finale which was viewed by a worldwide audience of 5.1 million people.
DeAngelo went on to sign with Bad Boy Entertainment for 3 years following the MTB4 show and was currently released from his contract once the label left Atlantic Records.
DeAngelo is currently working on a solo project and touring the United States performing and promoting his strong R&B sound. His new single “Hurricane” which was released on March 21, 2013, has been getting thousands of downloads nationally and great reviews. His cd, which consists of all original music titled “No More Dull Moments” was released electronically all over the world on May 3, 2013.
DeAngelo has also been in two plays, “Trapped” and a musical tribute to Michael Jackson as a featured guest star along the side of Tyler Perrys, Madea's family reunion co-star D'Atra Hicks, and auditioned for the hit play “Why do good girls like bad boyz”, where he was successfully chosen to play one of the roles. He is currently starring in the play “Waldy Street” which started touring nationally March 2012. DeAngelo also performed on a three month tour September - December 2012, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at the Sheraton Office Bar, with the X-Posure band, where he was the lead singer. He is currently in the studio working on a Single to be released in the summer 2014!
DeAngelo's charisma captivates the young and older audiences. He explodes on stage with his band keeping the audience attention with his smooth and tasteful music. He also performs with tracks if that's what works for the gig. He's very involved with the audience and will even co-host and event for you!
