He has been a featured performer at various charity events such as "Beats in the Sheets" which raised money for AIDS, "Icons and Legends", which raised money for Ophelia's House an organization that raises awareness for eating disorders, he has performed at some of the most prestigious events in Central New York, The Syracuse Jazz fest, The Northeast wine & Jazz festival, The Great New York State fair, and in 2008 he won the Syracuse Music Award (SAMMY) for best R&b CD with the Jproject band. Michael currently has been performing at the Del Lago Casino and The Turning Stones Casino, as well as working with the National Wedding band "The Silver Arrow band".
