They contacted us 1 time saying that they would be happy to do the reception. After the initial contact they would not respond to our phone calls or email. We tried for 2 or 3 weeks to get a hold of them so we could sign the contract. We gave up on them and hired someone else.

Stanton Sound never performed at my event because they never responded to any of my phone calls or emails. I was told by Gigmasters, after receiving the booking confirmation, to contact them to discuss a deposit and payment details. They never called back or emailed back to me. Because of this I was scrambling at the last minute to hire someone else (not through Gigmasters). I have no ratings for some of the questions asked of me because I don't know how talented, accomodating, etc. Stanton Sound is due to the fact that they never responded. This is the second request I have had to rate them and I hesitated to respond in a negative way, knowing it will be posted on their site but since Gigmasters is asking again, I decided to go ahead and "rate" them.

Tom, owner of Stanton Sound, did an exceptional job. Even after we provided him with the list of music that we wanted him to play, he was able to identify more songs that everyone wanted to dance to. He kept all of our guests on their feet. They have an extensive music library and their website is extremely easy to peruse. You can submit your song lists online and also are provided with an online event planner. I particularly appreciate Stanton Sound because Tom drove out to the wedding reception site that was four hours away from his home base, moved his equipment at least 4 times, and was extremely prompt and professional even with his own wedding coming up the following weekend. My husband and I are extremely pleased with his professionalism, his ability to select music that is what we wanted and what our guests wanted, and his promptness and enthusiastic attitude. I would strongly recommend Tom and Stanton Sound to any individual or business in need of a DJ.

Tom was great. He got there early and was set up before anyone else was even there. He stayed 45 minutes late and kept everyone dancing all night. Tom truly made it GREAT and we can not say enough about him and his company.

mr. stanton was very professional and accomodating to myself and all my guests. he arrived early and was fully set up and dressed very nicely for my event. all of his equipment looked like it was very well maintained and the sound quality was excellent. the range of music in his collection would probably rival some of the radio stations in the area, only he could provide more formats. he provided an amazing mix of music. everything from oldies, country, classic rock, hip hop, disco, etc... absolutely anything that myself or my guests wanted to hear, he had it! i will definately be using mr. stanton's services in the future and have already told everyone i know that if they ever need a dj for an event that stanton productions is the way to go. the professionalism, the music, the lighting...stanton productions was unbelievable. thank you tom for entertaining us. look forward to having you at my next event.
