Clint Hufft is a Master of Ceremonies, Announcer, Host, Auctioneer, Moderator and Consultant. First job was at age eleven as Master of Ceremonies for the school talent show. Been helping guide audiences and events ever since. A Master of Ceremonies isn't the star. We guide the event. Help the audience understand the purpose and participants. Work with the producer, designer and staff to achieve goals and proper flow of the event. Set up the experts and guest speakers to put their best foot forward. Help first timers or novice presenters feel comfortable, confident and accepted. Primary objective is to allow everyone have a great experience so that the next event will be even more successful. Good word of mouth is great marketing. For Non-Profit fundraising, an exciting live auction brings in more money. Have fun while emphasizing the financial goals. Professional presentation is a specific skill set. Establish credibility and connect with the audience. Make them feel included as a welcome, necessary component of the production.
