DJ Tomax was great. He was set up on time and cleared out on time. Played all the music that was requested and was very acomendating I would hire him again if the need arises.

The process of booking this DJ through Gigmasters was simple and straight forward. That was the best part of this process.
Unfortunately, the DJ who worked at our event was below par. To his credit, the first two hours of the evening we requested soft jazz during dinner, and that went quite well. However, for the last two hours we had made specific requests for the dance music we wanted. This is when the DJ failed completely.
He seemed to have no idea what popular dance music was, how to keep people entertained and dancing, or how to communicate with the guests or the event manager. And he didn't even play one of the songs we had sent him well in advance. On top of that, he began to have trouble with his sound system: lots of screeching feedback and inability to adjust the sound for the space.
Frankly, I was horrified. We had paid $800 ($200 per hour) and expected to get a high quality, professional DJ. His incompetence ruined the last half of the evening for many of our guests. When I called to express my dismay, the owner of DJ Tomix defended the DJ he had sent to us. I will never hire someone from DJ Tomix again.

ABSOLUTELY FALSE INFORMATION!!! The dinner and the presentations lasted for 3hours (not 2 hours as she states), leaving the DJ only 1 hour to play Dance music. The client e-mailed us a list of songs/artists they wanted to hear at the event and the DJ has played every single Artist request on that list and even took a few requests on-site.(We have a LOG of the songs played)Other employees from this party were thanking the DJ for such a great job, including the CEO! THE BeST DJ!!!!! He was completely professional and very classy and elegant. Perfect for an upscale event. He had everyone dancing the WHOLE TIME. He is so accomodating and really made the night perfect. All of our guests commented on how wonderful he was. He made the night a huge success
