DJ arrived early to venue, was all set up and ready to go before party started. DJ played very well, very entertaining, listened to guest song requests and played. I was greatly disappointed with this company. I booked them for my wedding for which I told them to be there at 3:00 pm, they showed up at 3:45 saying they had trouble getting there because they didn’t know where to go. I had given them the address at least 2 weeks before, giving them plenty of time to look it up. I also specified what to look for upon arrival. They missed songs during the ceremony and the transitions between songs took minutes. The microphones didn’t work either which could have been avoided if they had gotten there before hand. I am very disappointed that I had to deal with this on my wedding day.

Contract stated arrive 30 minutes before your wedding & we were set up, ready to go before your event but waited for electricity.The microphones were tested & were in working order but the officiant kept pushing the on/off button.After that was addressed they worked just fine for the rest of the night.We played all three songs that you requested for the ceremony.We asked you numerous times to send a playlist but none was sent.During the reception you were upset the DJ wasn't playing your music.He explained your playlist was instrumentals & slow cover songs not dance music as your own Dad had pointed out too & suggested artists, country music for the entry.

R.K sounds did a great and professional job. They were very accommodating given the short notice booking. The sound and music was great, lights were marvelous. I would say they really know what moves their crowd and definitely got talent, or know their music. The price was so affordable compared to the work they did. Very friendly and gave us wonderful experience. I would no doubt absolutely hire R.K Sounds again or certainly recommend him to anyone!

Due to transporation and detour challenges, the DJ arrived half an hour before the event was to start -- not the 2 hours as originally planned. However, once they did arrive and had their equiptment set up, they did a great job playing the music the kids wanted to hear.
Had we not had the initial delay - I would have been extremely satisifeid.

We used RKSounds for a surprise birthday party. They were there and setup before we arrived and played all the music that was on the playlist I sent them. We were especially pleased with that because there were several pieces of music that meant very much to the birthday boy. Some of those had to be hard to find. I would highly recommend this vendor.

We hired R.K. Sounds for our wedding.At our event,the DJ refused to "MC." We had to find friends to help.The DJ also was experiencing some difficulties which delayed the dance.Weird Dinner music.Note that they were there 3 hours early to set up.Good points:they were appologetic for the "mishaps" and played amazing music the rest of the night.Our dance floor was full the whole time!This company is also very affordable and willing to work with your schedule and your music preferences.The DJ played everything that we wanted.They have their own equipment.We would recommend using R.K. Sounds for your next party, prom, or large gathering.

I feel bad giving Robert a low rating. He's a nice guy, and he told me he just had his first child 1 day before my event, so he was busy and not as prepared as he normally would be. But, I did not get what I ordered, nor what he promised.
I needed a karaoke DJ. He promised song books around the room for guests to browse, but he didn't bring them. He said he had 200 GB of songs, he didn't have most requested songs. The momentum of the party died because of the gaps between songs and frustration, and I only used Robert for 30 minutes of the 2 hr gig, everyone left.
On the positive side, he was 3 hours early for the gig, and he appeared to have good equipment.

We appreciate Andrew's business but i think this is about not wanting to pay me than it is about the two songs that i couldn't play in karaoke format. they were not even on the play list he had sent me. All his play list was good as ordered. Time management was all his fault. His other performers did not clear the stage till about 40 min into our start time and at time(12am) his crowd had left and the remaining 8 folks and kids were on their way out too. I was setup in about 15 min. Was surprised as we were packing he had up and left without paying. when i catch up to him, he said,"taking kids home will pay you online tonight" He won't return calls or replay emails

On behalf of the Century Community, Alec and Uma, the pac co-chairs, were all very pleased with RK Sounds! RK played most songs from our list that we personalized for him, and he was able to mix his own style to it. He pleased the 300+ guest we had at our event and everyone had an amazing time! We were very pleased with everything. He played a excellent combination of our list, requests he got and the Dj's choice of music. Everyone from the youngest to the oldest we're on the dance floor at any given time through the night. It was great to have a combination of music for all ages to enjoy. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good dj. He played everything how we wanted it to be. EXCELLENT JOB!! He was there on time and set up very quickly and even started playing the music before our schedule time to play. If you're looking for a good time I highly recommend R. K. Sounds. He made our perfect day/night even better. Thank you for everything.

DJ Roberto was absolutely amazing! We had a few bumps in the beginning but he was able to work with us and he delivered exactly what I asked for!
