Everything was perfect and I could not have asked for a better DJ.

DJ Richard was just wonderful! He had told us that our job was to relax and enjoy our daughters reception and he would take care of everything else and that he did. Richard was wonderful his professionalism was present from the begining of the booking process. He worked hard to keep the music at a level that everyone enjoyed. I would have no problem recomending Academy DJs.. Richard Made our Holiday Party 2007 a Sucess....!!!!!!!!!

Paul did an awesome job of getting people out on the dance floor. Any song I wanted played, he played it along with any requests that our guests had. Thank you so much Paul, you helped our wedding be very memorable and a lot of fun :)

I really appreciated the fact that Pat was willing to play anything we requested.

Our DJ, Scott, was an absolute delight to work with. He drove 2 hours just to come meet us before our wedding so we could get to know him and go over the details. He made excellent suggestions on how to keep the reception flowing. He played music that was appropriate for all ages. He enunciated perfectly and kept the party going all night long. He was truly a delight to work with, and I highly recommend him for any wedding~! Thanks Scott!!!!!

very professional. effecient set up. quality equipment. very good selection of music consistent with our requests of beach party/graduation party music. well done and well worth it!

Bert was great! He was accomodating and arrived in proper attire and on time. The equipment he had worked well and he was a pleasure to work with.

They were very accomodating to our special needs for the wedding due to our religion. He was polite and very reasonable and played great songs from the ones we selected together. He really felt the crowd and played music accordingly. It was also very reasonably priced.

richard was a great Dj and knew how to win over the crowd. played a great mix for all ages for New years Eve

My Wedding was a blast and I have had so many people tell me how fun it was...I think the dj even had a blast becuase he was talking about it on his radio show later that week!!! He did an excellent job and I wouldn't have traded anything that he did. He took requests and got everyone out their dancing...again it was a blast! Acadamy DJ's was very on top of everything and their prices were very reasonable!

Pat did a good job at our wedding reception. He was very accomodating and we had a lot of last minute changes that he was perfectly fine with- very flexible and had a strong desire to cater to our needs. He was on time, professional, and patient with everyone. I would recommend AcademyDJS to my friends and family.

The only problem we had with Academy DJ's was that we had a mix of older people and younger people at our function and so it was hard to meet both needs. I definately think there should have been a few songs left out and not played simply because we had older people there and they were not appropriate songs. Other then that one minor problem everything else was good.

Richard from the Academy DJs was wonderful. They did a fantasic job for our Sweetheart's Dance. Everyone had a great time. I would recommend Academy DJs to anyone. Many Thanks!

Had good equipment and the songs blended well, No pauses which was very good. Didnt play the must-play songs, accepted requests over playing these songs. Didnt play the correct song for a certain activity. Overall it was nice and the music kept going. Thank you.

Overall pretty happy. There were a few things I would have changed concerning the dj.

The reason that this company received low ratings from me was because they printed the "final" song list from the internet on May 10, 2007 and I had not finalized anything until two days later. This meant that they did not have the accurate and final music selections! This resulted in me & my new husband having to chose a new song to dance our first dance to! This is something that the bride & groom should not have to do the DAY OF THEIR WEDDING! We made another chose only to find out that they DID NOT have that song in their "database" either. The DJ was very friendly; however, we felt very rushed to do everything including our first dance and the cutting of the cake just to mention a few. Your wedding is a day that you want to make last as long as you can and myself and my family really felt rushed by the DJ. I had also spoken with the DJ several days before the wedding and he/she did not mention that the list of songs that they obtained from the internet was incomplete. He/she said everything was set to go and they had all the songs that I had requested! However, as I stated previously they did not have our special first dance song nor the song for the bridal party to dance to nor did they play the music I requested during the cake cutting. Overall, after all the mess of not having our song...the rest of the evening turned out to be okay. It was a bit frustrating though. Also there was a financial issue at the beginning and the company would not accept my credit card because it was a "school credit card" and the week of the wedding the company notified me via email that my deposit had been declined. This was not true because I had mailed them a personal check, which cleared the bank the week after I mailed it. Anyways, this was not a terrible company but probably not the greatest! I realize that mix ups happen ever great once in a while...Good luck all!

We hired Academy DJs at the request from our son for his wedding reception. He spent quite a lot of time putting together a 3 hour song list which was not given to the DJ. The only music played that our son wanted was on a disc which he made and gave to the DJ. He was VERY disappointed with the music, to say the least. The DJ did the best he could, but the company really let us down.
