We also provide DJ services for an entire evening of entertainment. We have been performing at the York Fair for the past 4 years and love singing at campgrounds in the summer and have both been semi-finalists in the ON-Line Publishers Senior Idol Competition held at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre in Lancaster. A FEW WORDS ABOUT "MEMORY MUSIC"… MEMORY MUSIC was established in the summer of 1991 with the objective of performing floor shows and dance music in a wide variety of styles. Among our different floor shows are… "Christmas": Featuring skits and sing-a-longs to some of the most popular Yuletide songs from decades past. We can perform an entire show of Christmas music or a variety show featuring sounds of the season. "GOOD TIME ROCK N' ROLL: From 1954's "Rock Around The Clock" to the hits of the early 70's, our "Oldies" shows have become the most requested and popular of our floor shows. All shows feature skits, sing-a-longs and costume changes as well as our occasional "Salutes To The Legends" such as Elvis, Buddy Holly, Connie Francis, Petula Clark & Ricky Nelson. "AMERICA: From Sea To Shining Sea": This show features songs written about various cities and states in this great land of ours as well as some wonderful Patriotic songs. There is also a special salute to our armed forces. "Music From The WWII Years: 1941-1945: We explore the Pop, Country, Broadway and Movie hits of the early 1940's. Songs by Glenn Miller, Bing Crosby, The Andrews Sisters, Judy Garland, Gene Kelly, The Mills Brothers, Ernest Tubb, Roy Acuff, and a salute to the Cowboy Heros of the 40's are all part of this special show. "CLASSIC COUNTRY": This is our tribute to the big names and the big songs of Country Music past with hits made famous by Hank Williams Sr., Patsy Cline, Buck Owens, Lynn Anderson, Roger Miller, "Tennessee" Ernie Ford, Ronnie Milsap, Anne Murray, Marty Robbins and more… "EASY LISTENING": From the early 1900's on up, the Easy Listening shows include sing-a-longs and skits done to popular songs that were recorded by George M. Cohen, Frank Sinatra, Al Jolson, Doris Day, Perry Como, Glenn Miller, Judy Garland and Dean Martin just to name a few. "CHILDREN'S SHOWS": For the "CHILD" in all of us! Disney tunes… Nursery rhymes… Sing-A-Longs… Folk-Novelty-TV Theme songs… Broadway gems… Movie classics… "VARIETY SHOWS": Our Variety Shows contain something for (almost) everyone and include songs from our "Easy Listening", "Classic Country" and "Good Time Rock N' Roll" Shows. ALSO.. depending on the time of year, we adjust our shows to include special occasions.. Mother's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Octoberfest, Veteran's Day.
