Hello. I have been a professional DJ (weddings, parties, reunions, etc.) since 2004, and started my business DJ Gump Productions in 2008. Since then I have DJ'ed at 260+ venues, many in the San Francisco Bay Area, but also Sacramento, Santa Rosa and the North Coast. Every event is unique, and I approach it that way. Customers are unique, their musical taste is unique, their guests are unique, etc. There are many factors involved in a great DJ event, and an experienced, confident, reliable and conscientious DJ will evaluate and incorporate all into their work to make your event the best it can possibly be. One thing that sets my DJ business apart is customer service. Every customer gets excellent customer service by e-mail, text, phone and in-person from booking date to event date. I get your "must-play" and Suggested songs before your wedding or party. I also take guest requests the day of your event. And I use my judgement and gut instinct to pick the right song, at the right time, at the right volume. With DJ Gump Productions, you only pay for Performance Time. You do not pay for Set-up, Break-down, Travel, or Preparation Time. These times can often take 2-3x longer than Performance Time, but are free for you the client.
