Wedding ReceptionReviewed on August 28, 2012From Beaverton, OR

Dennis set a great atmosphere both for dinner and dancing (and everything in between!!!). He has a great sense of the crowd and is phenomenal at playing the sax. He also kept the party rockin by bringing out both the young and the old to the dance floor. It was a complete pleasure to meet and work with Dennis. He made our wedding day extra special.

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on June 24, 2018From Camas, WA

Dennis did a fabulous job, he played all the fun songs, MC'd our line up (I wouldnt have known what to do, if it wasnt for him keeping us on track) along with saxaphone during dinner and sang "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" live. He made our wedding reception perfect. Thank you Dennis.

ConventionReviewed on May 25, 2011From Vancouver, WA

Dennis was very easy to work with and very flexible. He played sax music for our dinner earlier in the evening and had everyone wondering where in the heck I found this guy! I am still getting emails about how wonderful he was at both dinner and the dancing! Later with the dancing we had a Dancing With The Stars theme and he had all our requested music and played along with changing schedule all night. He was fantastic to work with!! I highly recommend Dennis!

Corporate FunctionReviewed on December 9, 2012From Portland, OR

Dennis was such a pleasure to work with. He did exactly what we asked of him and was such a professional and clearly knows his music. If I need a DJ for future events he would be the person I would go to. Great job by Dennis!

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on July 9, 2013From Oregon City, OR

Dennis did a really wonderful job for my brunch wedding! We told him ahead of time we don’t want it to feel like a middle school dance and we aren’t really pop/rap people. He totally listened to us and played exactly what we asked him to during the meal. When the dancing started, he was totally in tune with the crowd. If he played something that cleared the dance floor, he switched quickly to something else. (Our families don't dance/party much, so this is saying something.) My whole family was really impressed with his ability to read the crowd and keep the party moving, even though it was only 2pm! I’d hire Dennis again in a second!

Sweet 16 PartyReviewed on October 13, 2013From Portland, OR

Dennis was helpful in the planning of our event as well as being prompt and professional at the party. He did a great job maintaining the tone and excitement of the event. Everyone had a great time. This was money well spent because the teens got to hear what they wanted and the parents didn't have to supervise too closely or (heaven forbid) actually listen to their music!

I was very pleased with how Dennis handled the whole evening. He was perceptive of the crowd and when he had questions, he didn't hesitate to ask. He had a wonderful spectrum of music and was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

New Year's Eve PartyReviewed on January 4, 2011From Salem, OR

Dennis was exceptionally professional and arrived right on time. He was very in tune with what it was we wanted, and if in doubt, would ask for clarification. We especially liked his pre-event sheet, which he requested for us to complete in advance, describing what it was we needed from him. The DJ, good or bad, can either make or break your party. Dennis made our event a great party and we would recommend him to anyone who needs a DJ.

WeddingReviewed on May 5, 2016From Hubbard, OR

Unfortunately our guests weren't as jumpin' as we had hoped so most of the time it was just the young kids out there. Dennis did a great job of keeping the music going even though people were leaving earlier than expected. My husband and I definitely enjoyed his song selections. I would definitely hire him again and/or recommend him to other people.

Private PartyReviewed on August 22, 2016From Hillsboro, OR

Nice guy and has been around a long time. He has a lot of experience, but his equipment is dated, and his multi tasking skills are below par. A lot of dead air,... meaning there was no music being played from one singer to the next, just dead air and him on the microphone asking "who's next." Dennis did an excellent job with the kids that were at my event and was patient and accommodating. Dennis's equipment was in 1970's style Samsonite hard cased luggage and left them on the stage. His wired microphone was all tangled up and didn't have it ready when it was time for karaoke. He never did untangle it. Overall he is decent, but not very engaging.

He didnt play the songs i asked for the money dance and kept playing jazz (I told him no jazz)

:

Regarding the customers comment that I "kept playing jazz", I just wanted to explain the situation. I only played "jazz" (Kenny G) for dinner music. I wish that the client would have told me at the time that she wanted something different because I would have accommodated. I looked back into all of our email correspondence and her filling out my forms and there wasn't any mention of "no jazz". Regarding my not playing two of the songs she wanted for the money dance (which I did go out and get), there was a little pressure trying to get things moving along so that people wouldn't leave because dinner and cake did take a long time. But I still should have remembered
