Our band, the "Dixie Gents" is the perfect diixieland band to serve as either a backdrop for an exciting event with friends and family or right up front with the audience playing jazz and swing tunes for all involved. Our musicians individually have played at venues for weddings, holiday dances, including Christmas, Valentines and Halloween parties, 25 year anniversaries, 50 year anniversaries, wedding anniversaries, picnics, Italian feasts, parades, restaurant, bars, night clubs, polka dances, backed well known singers for shows, provided music for ethic dancers. Concerts and solo performances have also been part of our experience. In any setting, our 8 piece Dixieland band consisting of trumpet/vocals, clarinet/vocals, tenor sax, trombone, piano, banjo, bass and drums can retain a sense of elegance and class that guarantees your event's performance to feel just right and timeless. We specialize in adding a personal touch, customizing each performance to best fit the mood of your picnic, dinner-dance, birthday party, social luncheon, pre-meeting entertainment, political event, wedding cocktail hour, block party or a concert on stage or in the park. * Flexible pricing to accommodate parties of different sizes and budgets. * Use of our professional sound system, including a wireless microphone, for speeches or toasts. An ipod is also available during breaks for continuous music. We can also offer a 5-6 piece Dixieland band for indoor activities or can even march on the street for parades. The band is known as the "Bourbon Street Strutters". In addition to these bands, I direct the band "Amoroso" a wedding styled band with 3 rhythm, three horns and a male or female vocalist with background vocals.
