Spice up the Party … STRIKE UP THE BAND! Praise the music. Band of Praise is 'old school'. We play the traditional arrangements in a traditional style. No microphones. No amplifiers. Pure music. We can make a banquet room feel like a riverboat cruise, or a riverboat cruise feel ... perfect. When we play ... it's hard to sit still. Band of Praise was founded in 2007 to bring the spirit of a New Orleans brass band to events and gatherings in Minnesota. We've played everything from parades, weddings, private parties, art fairs and river cruises, to memorial services and jazz funerals. Classic Dixieland with style. Band of Praise is a band of professional musicians, all members of the American Federation of Musicians and the Twin Cities Musicians Union (Local 30-73).
