Steve Waddington is a TRUE Multi-Tribute Entertainer! When he sings Dean Martin, Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Rivers, Elvis and others, he sounds JUST LIKE them. Plus, he has "the look". And he's an accomplished guitarist. Simply put, he's the BEST IN THE BUSINESS! No other performer even comes close to his authenticity, energy, charismatic performances and TRUE sound-alike quality! And he PROVES it 10-20 times per month!
DEAN MARTIN's daughter, Deana, exclaimed "We LOVE how you honor Dad's songs with such love and respect. You're not just an imitator, you are a true, honest tribute! You actually made me cry!" NEIL DIAMOND's mother, Rose, attended Steve's show, called him over for a couple of pictures and said "What a beautiful voice, you sound just like my son...and you even look like him too!" A couple of members of Neil's band were in the audience at one of Steve's shows and they said that they were "blown away" by his show! JOHNNY CASH's California relatives recently remarked "...excellent show! You sound more like Johnny Cash than J.R. did at times!" ('J.R.' was Johnny Cash's birth-name)
A new segment of the show "JOHNNY RIVERS A Go-Go" has Steve paying tribute to the original "Secret Agent Man" and captures the feel of The Sunset Strip's early "swingin' 60's" era...complete with audience participation! It's an on-stage PARTY and a re-creation of "Live at the Whiskey A Go Go".
For the last eight years, every September, he has been one of the featured headline performers and co-MC on the JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE stage in Hollywood, for the annual 'Feast of San Gennaro' (aka the Italian Festival) on the JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE stage, and has performed for many functions and benefits for "The Sons of Italy" and various Italian festivals and organizations throughout California.
With decades of experience in casinos, night clubs. restaurants, festivals, private parties and corporate events, he's the top pick for show producers, event planners and agents alike. He also has his own unique show, "FROM RAT PACK to ROCK & ROLL", where he salutes Dino, Sinatra, Darin, etc, and then grabs his guitar and salutes the legendary Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, Elvis, Johnny Rivers, Buddy Holly, the Everly Bros, Rick Nelson, Chris Isaak, Dwight Yoakam, Merle Haggard, Glen Campbell, 50s, 60s, 70s 80's, etc...and his hilarious-yet-spot-on spoofs of Conway Twitty, Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, Donovan, the early BeeGees, the "hippy-dippy sixties", and much, much more!
He's a supremely talented performer who sounds just like his intended targets...and his backing band "The Retro-Rockin' All-Stars" is comprised of the BEST, seasoned musicians in Southern California, many of whom still back the biggest names in the entertainment industry!
HOWEVER, he does NOT claim to be "a man of a thousand voices"...he's an entertainer that just happens to do about "a dozen-or-so" spectacular voice characterizations, and he does them better than anyone in the industry! And with a few costume changes to represent the overall look of the artist he is covering, it is an amazing show! PLUS...he can adapt the show to incorporate as few, or as many, tributes as needed.
Want just "an evening with Dino"? No problem! Or "the Johnny Cash Tribute Show"? Great! Or just "The Hits of Neil Diamond"? Let's do it! Maybe an evening of vintage rock and rockabilly? Perfect! Or any combination thereof! With any size band or singing to pre-recorded tracks! Anything from a quick 15 min show to a full 2 1/2 hour concert!!
