$350 - $3500 per hour
The Hawaiian show takes you on a journey back in time from ancient Hawaii to modern Hawaii, through oli (prayer) and mele (song) in the ancient hula to the songs of the modern hula. The history of hula begins in the legend of the fire goddess, Pele. Keeping this in mind, it is important to present these dances in a hula program. We also perform dances to other Hawaiian Gods & Goddesses as well as dances to the chiefs, people, animals, land & sea. The hula ku`i joins the old with the new incorporating some of the ancient hula instruments with modern music. We perform dances from all eras through to the twenty-first century (new compositions) including hula auana (modern) and Hapa-Ha'ole (english words to Hawaiian tunes).
