Hanoch Hickman is the CEO of Noc Noc Productions, an entertainment group based out of Charlotte, N.C. He is the founding member and music director of one of the nation's premier bands, The Company Band. Hanoch Hickman is former music director and pianist for the Johnson C. Smith University Upward Bound Program.
He developed his first love for music, playing drums in the church at the age of 5. Years later, he discovered his true gift, piano. As a teenager, Hanoch took private lessons with jazz greats, Ramsey Lewis and Willie Pickens. This inspired him to start his first band when he was 14. He went on to study Sacred Music and Music Business at Johnson C. Smith University. His styles include classical, jazz, gospel, and top Billboard hits.
Today he performs as a soloist and music director throughout the Southeast and Central parts of the U.S. A CD featuring a performance of his works and collaborations is now available. Gladys Night, Tony Bennet, Al Jarreau, James Taylor, George Benson, Micheal McDonald, John Legend, MuziqSoulchild, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Vickie Winans, KRS One, Biz Marquee, Hancock Hickman, Rueben Studdard, Bobby Valentino, Erykah Badu, Dave Chappelle, Talib Kweli, and the S.O.S. Band are just a portion of the artists he's worked with.
Aside from being a great musician, Hanoch has played a part in developing some of North Carolina's best choirs. He has also produced several “A” list concerts on the east coast. His experience in the music industry has enabled him to write and produce some of the best music around.
