Multi Style Dance Co Dance Group from Oakland, CA

Please note number of dancers desired for your event, what styles needed, and if choreography, freestyling, or both are needed. Dawn, the organizer, has performed, taught, choreographed in the Bay, Los Angeles, New York, and Costa Rica over the past 15 years. She is experienced in samba, belly dance, several African derived styles, burlesque, house, hiphop, lyrical, fire, salsa, and polynesian. However, other styles of dancers in the group include stilt walkers, break dancers, aerialists, and more. Dawn has been featured in several music videos, commercials, live events, films, and print advertisements for major brands. This includes performing at the BET Awards, on the commercial for the first season of "So You Think You Can Dance", the film "Idlewild", for Major Lazer's concert, and more. In Costa Rica, she led her province's group to win the 2nd place in the national Carnaval two years in a row. Dawn also founded and directed a successful entertainment show in 2015, Puerto Viejo Live, which is still running. She was also the choreographer, dancer, and part time vocalist, and drummer in a Rock/HipHop Band. Currently, she is the dancer for "The Purple Ones" a Prince Tribute band directed by Prince's former guitarist. SHE DOES NOT CHOREOGRAPH QUINCENIERAS.
