Under The Radar Dance Band from Evergreen, CO

Under the Radar (UTR) is known for presenting extremely fun and exciting performances featuring predominantly (but not exclusively) rock (both contemporary and classic). The most common comments we hear at our show is "I've never heard a band play (that song)... I LOVE that song!" In addition to a wide rock styles, we also perform some great Soul, some hard driving Blues, some Funk, and occasionally some rockin' Country crossovers... and of course, great Ballads. We avoid the most worn out and over-played songs from these genres, but always deliver well-known and well-loved songs. There are 4 members, and each of us sing, making for very full harmonies. The members are: Pat Emerine (vocals, keyboards & acoustic guitar), Bob Croft (vocals & electric guitars), Bill Capsalis (vocals & bass guitar), and David Heck (vocals & drums). Each of us has logged many years as performing professionals; from 30-35 years experience each, playing in both "club" and "private party bands", as well as touring. Our performances are not only great for dancers, but for listeners as well. We engage our audiences in a welcoming and comfortable manner, and always keeping our interaction appropriate for the event and moment. The band is extremely well-rehearsed... we're "tight", as is said in "the music biz". We own and operate our own sound and lighting systems. For those who care about "the gear", our PA includes dual Mackie 450 tops with Mackie 15" subs... a very good sounding PA for up to about 250 people. We are extremely attentive to details, and know the importance of getting them right. We are equally well versed in handling weddings, corporate parties and other special events. We currently perform in both club and private event situations, and regularly (and successfully) handle and entertain in both types of settings. We seasonally perform for many of the areas largest summer concerts and festivals, including The Taste of Colorado, Cherry Creek Arts Festival, etc., We play the better known clubs in the Denver region, including The Little Bear (Evergreen), Tailgate (Parker), Toad Tavern (Littleton), etc. The private events that we play are typically in the best hotels and convention facilities in Colorado, including the Colorado Convention Center, Hyatt Regency Colorado Convention Center, Boulderado, Lodge at Vail, etc. Our calender is regularly updated and is avaialble for viewing 24/7 on our website, as are all of our promotional materials.
