The Stimulantes are an exciting, seasoned, friendly, high-energy dance band, whose members include some of Boston's most experienced professional musicians, all of whom regularly play with other top area acts, along with busy recording and teaching schedules. They have decades of experience playing all kinds of events, from weddings and functions to concerts and clubs and recording sessions, performing a variety of musical styles depending on what the occasion calls for. Their setlist covers a wide range of funk, blues, R&B, soul, and jazz, and is made up of a long list of danceable favorites. They also play a wide range of jazz and latin standards for a quiet dinner set. They can perform in any size ensemble required, from acoustic duo to a five-piece band with horns, or larger with more horns if requested. The Stimulantes are the ideal entertainment for your party or event, whatever your needs may be!

This band rules. They blew the roof off at my wedding and made my night. If you are a rock n roll/soul/funk lover, hire the Stimulantes immediately for your next event. More specifically, the vocals, guitar, all the instrumentals are righteous. If you know music, just listen to the samples on gig masters and you'll get it. The live version is ten times better! Everyone at my wedding went nuts dancing, even people I wouldn't have pegged to be shakin it on the floor. Bonus, these guys are extremely professional and considerate. We had them play two songs for our first dance and parent dance that weren't in their regular repetoire, and they nailed them. True artistry.

My wife and I could not have been happier with how well The Stimulantes played at our wedding reception. From the first note they played until they finished, our dance floor was full and our friends were psyched. People really loved everything they were hearing and many of our guests asked for info to have The Stimulantes play at their next party. My wife and I would love to throw another party like that with The Stimulantes providing the rock! They are awesome!
