The Shakedown were incredible. The whole night we got questions about how we found them and saying how amazing they were. At least one person got their card to do a wedding all the way up in Cleveland, OH next year. There was never a lull in the energy, people were always on the dance floor and having a great time. Nash, the lead singer and one who handles the logistics was very easy to work with and good at understanding what we wanted. The only thing guests will remember are if the food was good and if the music was good. If you want an amazing experience and an awesome party, make the investment and go with The Shakedown.

The Shakedown were BRILLIANT! We have seen them play many times and enjoy them so much we HAD TO HAVE THEM for our Wedding reception. These guys are Pros! Nash and company bring the energy, good vibes, great music - and they keep the good times going for hours!! The Shakedown nailed our special song requests, and can play anything you can imagine. Not happy to simply play a cover - they clearly spend time and a great deal of effort to make everything as perfect as possible. Throughout our reception, practically everyone complemented the band and we found that every one of our 200+ guests was bouncing around the dancefloor all night long!! Thanks Gents!

We are very happy with our decision to hire The Shakedown for our wedding reception. The dance floor was hoppin' all night long and everyone was having a good time. We really wish they could have played longer but have nothing but positive things to say about experience with them. We look forward to seeing them again!

The Shakedown was amazing! Everyone had a blast at our reception and we received so many compliments on the band! They were very lively and kept everyone dancing all night. We would highly recommend them to anyone. They were very easy to work, too.

Could not have found a better band to please guests ages 20 - 75. They had everyone dancing! Very well-mannered young men who "gave it their all" on every song. We loved their playlist. I'd recommend them, without hesitation, to anyone looking for a talented, high energy band who can get the crowd moving.

We danced all night - The Shakedown sounded that amazing!!! The band was by far the easiest and most professional vendor we worked with for our wedding. Thomas planned every detail and the guys delivered a fabulous performance. Everyone at the receiption was up and dancing! They even learned two songs that just made our night - and sang them both beautifully. We could not have asked for a better band!!!

The Shakedown was just fantastic. We came in with high expectations and the band exceeded them in spades. These guys create a sound that can only come from musicians who love to play the music they perform. With a big variety that appeals to all ages, The Shakedown had everyone dancing for as long as the venue would have us. They were great to work with leading up to our event, were very responsive, cordial and professional. They showed up early and stayed late. Other than the getting married part, the band was the highlight of our wedding, and we would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone who wants a first class event with a first class band.

We hired The Shakedown to perform at a fundraising event for the Ackland Art Museum. They were very enthusiastic, and performed extremely well. They were able to entertain people of all ages, and were very acommodating with our musical requests. We would recommend them for any other fundraising or charity event.

We hired the Shakedown to play our wedding in Lake Toxaway, NC. The band agreed to drive all the way from Raleigh for the event, which was at least a 4 hour trip for them. They arrived early and had everything ready to go before the ceremony even started. They were all extrememly accomodating and more than professional. They had two fantastic set lists and by the time the reception was over every wedding guest was dancing and chanting for them to play "one more song" (which of course they did). I would absolutely recommend this group to anyone. They were awesome and truly made our special day all the more memorable!

We had The Shakedown at our wedding BBQ in Raleigh, they were amazing! Everyone loved the music and they really kept the party going, we received tons of complements. The band was easy to work with, and very professional. They were absolutely fabulous and I highly highly recommend them!!!
