The Carousels Band has been entertaining audiences over 40 years and have as much fun making music now, as ever. Initially formed in 1976, we were better known as a Beach Music band at that time and won multiple awards to include induction into the Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame, North Carolina Music Hall of Fame, Blue Mountain State Hall of Fame, 3-time winners of "Toast of The Coast" and we are proud recipients of the Wade Founders Day Award. We also opened for multiple headliners to include Percy Sledge, The Drifters and others. Over the years we have broadened our song list and our focus is now cover band material. We now enjoy playing for and entertaining audiences at a variety of venues including parties, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, corporate events, nightclubs and more including The Marine Corps Ball. Playing music for so many years and for various types of audiences in multiple settings has led to a song list that is more varied than most. Our song list includes hits from as far back as the 50's to today's current chart toppers and from multiple genres to include Beach, Rock, Pop, Country, Funk, Soul and more....and it's 100% dance music. Regardless of age, your guests will be entertained. We are a 4 piece band utilizing computerized backtracks to add Percussion, Horns and much more that makes for a big band sound and creates lots of excitement and energy on the dance floor.
