REWIND is a 5 piece party dance band of experienced musicians from around the bay area. Our set list is a tremendous collection of fun danceable rock and roll grooves! Everyone will know and sing and dance to the songs helping your event to be a huge success! We play the disco and funky 70's and the rocking 80's and all the way to the present day popular tunes. These rock, pop, disco, R&B standards get people out on the dance floor and keep them there!

JOHN - Guitar
Los Angeles veteran vocalist /guitar slinger relocates to Marin County. For 11 years John lived in Los Angeles working for major studios such as the famed Record Plant Recording Studios, Keith Olsen's Goodnight LA, North Hollywood's Devinshire Sound and Hollywood's Studio Instrument Rentals(SIR). As a result of his studio career John was able to spend lots of time in the studio with such well-known artists as Prince, Neil diamond, Whitesnake, Motley Crue, Poison, Rod Stewart, Ron Wood of The Rolling Stones, Joe Walsh, The Rockets and the Knack to name a few. John also worked in the Record Plants scoring department under Dan Wallin, the number one film scoring mixer in the world, and worked on numerous major motion picture soundtrack's such as Stripes, Victory, Zorro : The Gay Blade, Wolfen, Deadly blessing, Continental Divide, Body Beat, Absence of Malice, In addition to playing live music John is still involved in producing, recording, teaching voice and guitar, and does stage lighting. He has been playing music professionally since the age 14 has been on toured much of the United States,Europe, Mexico and Hawaii, has done cruise ship work as an entertainer out of Philadelphia, Baltimore and New York.
TONY - Lead Singer
At the age of 14, American bandstand producer saw Tony dancing on the Venice Beach boardwalk, asking him to be on the show becoming one of the youngest people to appear on Dick Clark's production. This was the beginning of Tony's show business including acting, commercials, and theater. Through the influence of Stevie Wonder's music, Tony decided he wanted to be a musician and began taking private lessons in guitar, bass guitar and vocal training. In 1997, Tony was introduced to a country musician star Trevis Tritt asking him to audition bass for his friend Pam Tillis. The audition led to tours that lasted for 6 years, touring with recording artists such as Dan Folgelberg, Eddie Rabbit, Vince Gill, Seals and Crofts, England Dan and John Ford Colley, and America.
Tim became enamored with the sound of the bass at 4 years old in Ann Arbor, Michigan, when he heard Motown records being played at a neighbor's house, even though he didn't know what a bass was at the time. A couple of years later, he saw a band playing at a park, and noticed the player's fingers on the big 4 string guitar, and made the connection. He played close to 1000 gigs in the Bay Area in the 90s, moved to Seattle in 1997, where he played with several original rock bands and was the rhythm section leader in the Sonic Funk Orchestra for almost 8 years. He moved back to the Bay Area in 2014.
Mike began taking piano lessons at 6 years old. Starting in high school he played in various bands. He attended the Conservatory of Music at the University of Pacific where he studied classical piano in college and after a long break to focus on his career and family, Mike's passion for music was renewed. He began taking courses at the Jazz School in Berkley where he focused on Jazz and Blues theory. After jamming with several different groups in Marin, Mike found the style he wanted to focus on and with the help of his friends, REWIND was formed! Mike is the band manager and schedules the gigs for the band.
Aaron grew up in the Half Moon Bay area of California, and had a love for music early on. He began with trumpet, playing from elementary through high school in numerous performances. While in junior high, Aaron was drawn to the drums, as his father had his own band, and had drummers over regularly. In just a few years, Aaron was playing in his father's band, playing weddings, parties, and special events at the ripe old age of 14. In the decades following, Aaron has played and performed with numerous bands and has played a variety of styles including soul, funk, R&B, classic rock, jazz, and other styles as well. He has played with L5, The Soul Starz, The Doc Kraft Band, and is now making his musical home with REWIND. Aaron is married, a father of two childeren, and his day job is working as a database administrator at the College of Marin.
