With 100% certainty I can say hiring Motor City Soul for our wedding reception was the best decision we made. They went above and beyond w/everything including Ross making a special trip to see our complicated venue in person. They learned 3 special songs for us and even practiced with one of my friends who sang with the band. Our guests raved about them (and we are still receiving compliments!) saying it was "the best wedding they had ever been to." I can't say enough great things about them - They are funny, professional, very talented, and our guests literally cheered encore at the end of the reception until they played another song! Unreal!

I could not more HIGHLY recommend Motor City Soul. This was the best decision we made regarding our reception. From the planning stages at the very start, they were very easy to work it and learned the song we requested for our first dance. They also surprised us at the wedding with the live version of the father-bride dance that had only just shortly before been submitted. Once the band started playing, our guests literally ran to the dance floor to enjoy their performance. From the songs, to the dance moves, to the crowd interaction, Motor City Soul was truly the best. Guests have not stopped raving about them. Thank you for a perfect night!

What an incredible band! My wife and I had put a lot of work into our wedding and are so happy with everything that turned out, but the one thing that people consistently approached us about after the wedding was how incredible the band (Motor City Soul) was. My sister even tried to book them but they were already booked! It was impossible to be sitting or standing still while they were playing, which is why EVERYONE was dancing.
Beyond the music, my wife and I were inexperienced at planning weddings [this was our first and last ;)], and Ross sat down with us to call through and make sure everything would go smoothly. It helped a ton. Highly recommend

Motor City Soul was a very talented band. Ross was very accommodating and even helped us out with scheduling. They rocked the party. All of the guests were raving about how good the band was. A group of great musicians all around! We couldn't have been more pleased. They did a cover for the father daughter dance by Iz and nailed it. Had me crying through the whole song. I could go on and on and on! They were great. We will all them back for every family gathering we need a band at! Thanks Motor City Soul!

The band had our wedding guests on the dance floor the entire night! They played a nice mix of music so every guest heard something he or she liked. We got so many compliments from our guests about the band the next day and would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a band in the Detroit area.

For my wedding, I wanted the entertainment to be more than a DJ running through a playlist. I booked Motor City Soul after talking with their manager. He told me they knew how to keep a party moving by involving the audience and even changing a set list to play what they wanted to hear. Motor City Soul delivered on their promises! My bride and I had a great time and so did our guests. People kept asking me where I found the band and saying how great they were. My Aunt was dancing all night and told us it was the best wedding she had been to in a long time. I also appreciated that the band learned the music for our first dance so they could play and live cover.

Hire them! No need to look further. The best wedding band for fun and great music! Motor City Soul were fabulous at our wedding! They delivered- great, quality music, performances and fun! From the beginning, Ross was great to work with and right down to the morning of our wedding day, when I called to make a change. They delivered. Early on, we went to see them perform at Bayside in Walled Lake. The dance floor was packed and we knew they were what we wanted. There was good communication throughout the process. They arrived and had everything set up and ready to go on time. The singers enthusiasm and quality made the party. We loved them and we know you will too!

Three weeks after the wedding, I'm still receiving phone calls and text messages about how amazing Motor City Soul was. They were the best wedding entertainment I have ever seen. Interacting with our guests by dancing, passing the microphone to people who knew the songs and even entertaining my aunt by letting her come on stage and dance with them. They were amazing and I one hundred and fifty percent recommend Motor City Soul!

Hiring Motor City Soul was the best decision we made for our wedding. They brought our reception from same ol' gig to an epic celebration. They learned new songs just for us and accommodated our requests with great enthusiasm. The lead singers were out on the floor interacting with our guests and even let me get on the stage with them while I screeched out the last song :) Our guests (of all ages) are still talking about them and how much fun they had. They are extremely talented, professional, and experts with wedding arrangements and timelines- They know what they're doing and have fun doing it. They are the best investment you will make for your event!

Motor City Soul did a great job playing for our wedding. They worked with us closely to plan the perfect entertainment and it showed to our guests. They were on-time, very professional and courteous. We had many complements and questions about who they were and where we found them. Highly recommend them to play for any event! They seem versatile and capable of playing many genres of music.

This band is awesome!!! Mr. Kadash, as the band's spoksperson, is very professional and easy to work with. The band is great, has a great sound! It had my convention attendees up an on their feet dancing in minutes and then all through the event, which is amazing since I have been to some of my convention events where people have left early while band was still playing. This band got right down into the crowd an really connected with the people! LOVE THEM and would recommend to anyone! For the quality of entertainment they provide their pricing was excellent too!
