The bandleader, Howard, as well as the rest of the band were absolutely great! Howard regularly emailed or called me before the event clearing up all of my questions, the band was right on time, played longer than they had planned at the crowd's behest, sung happy birthday to two guests at midnight, and were an overall big hit. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to enhance any event or party. They were so talented with such a range of songs, the crowd was thrilled. I would not only recommend using them in place of any band, but also in place of any disc jockey. Just to hear them play, one would think they were hearing the original artists! Superb! A++!!

Howard and his band were absolutely fantastic. Main Line Affair played for our wedding on 10-10-10 at the Harvard Club of New York. The music was great, the vocalists were first class as well as the musicians. Howard was very professional and extremely nice and cordial. We recommend MLA for any events in the City.

Main Line Affair was amazing and made my party so special. From the very beginning Howard took interest in my party and the theme and made sure they did everything to enhance my party. The quality of the talent and the diversity in the program was outstanding. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the tri-state area. Main Line Affair provided unbelievable energy at our wedding reception and were great to work with throughout the entire process. We received more compliments from our guests on their performance than we could count. We didn’t think we were going to be able to afford live music on our budget, but we were shocked to find MLA at such an affordable rate, and even more pleased with their performance. Funk, pop, blues, rock, classic party tunes, even songs we specially requested – MLA played them all, kept it going all night long and had everyone on their feet the whole time. If I ever have need of a band again, MLA is definitely going to be my first call.

Let me be clear - I went into this thing with a lot of skepticism. Thankfully, Howard and Main Line Affair were up to the challenge. Working with Howard was a pleasure - he was responsive, accessible, and suggestive without being pushy - he was right about 95% of the time, and I very much appreciate him talking me out of "Wheel In the Sky". Seriously, he made the the evening both an elegant, sophisticated, memorable affair and the super blast party that it was, and I heard praise for the band all night long (and the next morning).
