Gulf Drive Karaoke Band from Bradenton Beach, FL

Gulf Drive performs as a solo act but most often as a duo. I play sax and flute and provide vocals. My vocal partner has a terrific soothing vocal quality. We cover a variety of styles going back as far as the 20s and up to and including the 80s. Our repertoire includes a variety of styles such as swing, oldies from the 50s & 60s, top 40, country and jazz. For my solo and duo act as well, I use high quality sound tracks, all of which have been arranged or rearranged by me to best suit my audiences. On the sound tracks, you will most likely hear piano, bass, guitar and drums. To complement most arrangements, I often add brass, strings, and synthesizer tracks. A talented keyboard player from the Pittsburgh area joins us from January through April. Having retired from teaching high school math in 2004, I was able to continue a musical career that I started as a teenager but had to leave as my teaching career developed. I sincerely believe that Gulf Drive, whether it be a solo, duo or trio, can provide the high quality musical entertainment that you are searching for.
