WillowStar Band Cover Band from Jackson, WY

WillowStar Band is a local band catering to Jackson Hole locals and tourists who want great music at the best prices! Genre options include: WillowStar Cover Band, WillowStar Jazz Band, and WillowStar Original Band (All-female). WillowStar comes from a family of musicians, and music resides in her blood. After a NYC upbringing, she made her way to the Teton Mountains due to her love for the outdoors, wilderness, animals, and open space. WillowStar Cover Band specializes in weddings, corporate events, and house parties. She and her rhythm section make up the core of the band. Johnny C Note, her bass player, out of Columbus, OH, sends a strong message with his forward style of playing on both the electric bass and the upright bass. Jacob Gampe, her drummer, is as versatile as they come, and his chops on the drums span from jazz to rock to polka, to irish punk, and back. You will definitely be dancing with these two men driving the rhythm. WillowStar has a strong vocal presence, both technically and emotionally, and puts her heart and soul into her performances. For larger events, other players will be added up to the number of instruments requested by the client. Electric guitar, Horns, Keyboards and Vocal Harmonies are some examples of this. Please ask about options for sizing the band, and catering to a price range. WillowStar Jazz Band is also made up of these 3 core musicians plus Chris Moran, a fabulously talented jazz guitarist. They specialize in Jazz standards from the fun old timey era but make each song their own, as is the tradition in jazz. They will do some fusion also to mix it up. WillowStar Original Band is an option for those of you who are interested in taking in some new music! WillowStar is a singer/songwriter and has teamed up with 3 other singer/songwriters to form an all original all female band. In this configuration Willow, Jessie, Molly and Susan will delight the listener with high level song-writing, 2-4 part harmonies on most songs, and fun grooves that span from folk/pop, to mountain/bluegrass, to power ballad, to rock and roll.
