Whiskey Tango is THE Dance & Rock N' Roll hits cover band for Phoenix Arizona. We are a four piece group dedicated to providing live entertainment for all events! Private events, bars, corporate gatherings hotels and festivals, no venue is complete without having tasted the sweet music of Whiskey Tango. We can bring fun and excitement to you and your patrons all night with our talented group of practiced musicians. So let's get the party started, and dance all night, with your favorite rock, hip hop, pop and dance hits. With shows all over the valley, there's a good chance we are playing near you, and soon. We have no gimmicks, just us on stage, having a good time without taking ourselves too seriously. This is fun after all. Josh Kontak our lead singer, has the voice of an angel, or rather someone who studied classic voice in college. He has plenty of stage experience from plays, karaoke, and band performances, and as the front-man for Whiskey Tango, Josh leads our image in rock n' roll with a little bit of comedy mixed in. Omar Olivas our lead guitarist, wants nothing more than to share the “punchy” nature of rock n roll. Having played guitar for over 10 years, Omar has no problem showing off a little during his solos, but maintains the quality sound that only years of practice can bring. Matt Dexter is the bass-man. Using his 6 string bass, Matt can pull off plenty of slick moves, but also fills out the rhythm section of our band. A cornerstone for our understanding of how to pull of cover music, Matt is always prepared and professional in his approach to his obligations to shows, our music, and the rest of the band. Vinny Savoia, our newest but most enthusiastic member brings a thunderous drumming style to his kit. With 15+ years on percussion, and rock and pop influences Vinny's passion to play live and provide entertainment to all audiences is really what keys him into our #WhiskeySound
