U4ria: A state of very intense happiness and feelings of well being. What force of nature can bring individuals of diverse backgrounds together to form a harmonic cause? The same force that has fused together a nationally recognized physician, a civil engineer, a successful manager of a division in a chemical plant, a multi-talented entrepreneur, and a melodic environmental scientist: MUSIC. Although well grossed in their respected careers, these men and women have shared a passion for music that soars beyond their daily 9 to 5. "It's all about the love of music; it's where I go to find my 'happy place'" explains vocalist, Arianne. The band was assembled in December 2008, and from the first rehearsal their sound has been nothing less than euphoric. It was from there that the band was christened, U4ria.U4ria has a sound that is very unique in the idea that they can be soft and sexy one minute, then hip and funky the next. Their catalog is very expansive and covers almost every genre and decade of music. "We wanted to be able to play for a college crowd one night, and appeal to a crowd of 30somethings the next" says bass guitarist, Rani.
