Overall a great experience. Good communication prior to the gig and a smooth process from setup to tear down.
Outstanding musicianship (good, balanced mix), attention to details (solos, fills), and lights.
Good song variety from popular (Journey, Eagles) to more obscure (Honeymoon Suite, Warren Zevon).
Despite the cold weather, they put on a great show and played beyond the agreed 2 hours and ended with a good encore medley.
Comments from 50 or so guests were all positive.

We were treated very well by John, Angie, and all of the guests, and had a great time in spite of the cold weather. Although the party was small the atmosphere was very positive and,again, they were very hospitable and friendly, as if we were one of their friends. Thanks again to John and Angie!!

The Penny Loafers, formally, The Drive were amazing! The band was rocking & our wedding guests loved them! The light set-up they bring is awesome & worth their fee alone. The music they played between sets kept people dancing! Like any party, some guests didn't dance, but they even said how awesome the band & music was! We did a fake out for our first dance, start with a recorded slow song that ‘malfunctioned’ & the band ‘had to’ play for us. The song 500 Miles was the song we wanted & it wasn’t a song they knew, but learned it for us with specific cuts to fit with our dance. It went so perfectly & wowed our guests! They are great! Book them now, you won’t regret it!

This reception was off the scale from one end of the spectrum, which was the elegance of the setting and the decorating, to the other end of the spectrum, which was the fun and creativity shared by the whole gathering(tennis shoes worn by the groom and groomsmen to pottery made by Brian himself given to each and every guest including ourselves, to an incredible fireworks diplay.)If we knew they had this much money we would have doubled our fee!!! The Drive has been playing once a year at our yacht club for a few years now. They put on a great show and play great songs for getting the members out on the dance floor. We will have them back next year and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good band to get party goers up and dancing!

Baypoint Yacht Club has hired us 4 years in a row and has always made us feel very welcome. We've come to know some of these people personally and always look forward to returning. The band was great!! Everyone kept saying how good they were and where did I find them. Scott was always very professional and went the extra mile to ensure a great time was had by all the guests. We will definitely hire them again in the future for other events...

"The Drive made our wedding night! They were easy to work with and made our entire wedding day flow with precise planning and enough ad lib to allow for changes on the spot. They learned two songs that we requested and played some of our guest favorite songs at the end of the night upon request. They are passionate about what they do and it is obvious by their performance!"

The Drive was very entertaining and extremely professional. The 800 employees and their family members at our comnpany event all enjoyed The Drive very much. The band set up early and had the necessary equipment to give our outdoor event the big sound that we wanted. Their song selection was great. The Drive contacted us well in advance to be sure all arrangements and requests were understood. The Drive has Big Talent and a Big professional sound.

The Drive was excellent and are the reason for our event's success! They were very talented and friendly musicians. It was great that they engaged with us during their setup, the show, and while cleaning up. They had awesome music and sounded great! I wish we would have known about them sooner so that we could have invited them to earlier events; regardless, we would gladly invite them back for future events, especially ones where they would be the main attraction whereas they were background music to other activities going on at our festival. They deserve more attention than our audience gave but were very professional throughout the entire event.

Daniel and everyone involved made us feel very welcome and appreciated. Daniel was very patient with us leading up to the event while we finally got him the contract and W-9 info he requested!!! Everyone was very polite, and the group seemed to be an upbeat tight-knit group of students. Whereas it did in fact seem that we were sometimes background music,we were not upset with them, but rather worried that they were disappointed in us, and it's important to us to feel as though the client is happy with their choice. Their feedback assured us they were. We met some great people, and we would play for them again in a minute. Thanks again, Daniel, and eveyone else. Scott

The Drive was fantastic - friendly, easy to work with, and extremely talented. Many people at the party mentioned that they were the best cover band they had ever heard, and insisted we bring them back for our next event. The only reason I gave them 4 stars for 'special requests' was that they were not able to play anything that wasn't already on the set list - but to be fair the requests were made only a week or two before the show.
Overall they were great to work with, sounded amazing, and put on a great show!

The band members are very personable, they cater their performance to match the occasion, and they are able to play and perform a wide variety of selections to meet the needs of the audience. Very talented individuals. I would hire them back in a minute.

The Drive did a great job. The sound and mix was very good. Great lighting. Excellent live performance, and they were very easy to work with. They were able to download every special song we requested for the Bride & groom dance, Father - daughter dance, and entrance song, and during their break, they played all the favorite live dance songs.
I want to thank them for being a large part of my daughters wedding, which turned out to be the perfect day.

The drive played our wedding reception and pretty much made the evening. Their songs were spot on, and they kept the party going all night. They were a great bunch of guys to work with, and I would recommend them for parties, weddings, anything and everything. Can't say enough about them. People are still talking about how fun our reception was.

We do not know how to express in so few words that The Drive is AWESOME. They charge a very fair price and play a plethora of music. Their sets are much longer than we expected. We all definitely got the vibe that they truly wanted us to enjoy the music. They aren't one of those play-by-the-hour groups, where you insert more bills to continue. They play a reasonable amount of time and stop when the party does. In fact, they made the party. If you have a fun loving bunch at your event, they will play to please. The Drive definitely went above and beyond to make us and our guests happy.
