The Crimestoppers are one of the mid-Atlantic's longest running club touring bands, playing the Mid-Atlantic scene, from Maryland to North Carolina, for over twenty-seven (27) years.
Expanding more and more into the corporate and private event arena, the band also keeps up a regular tour of the area's best music clubs, including appearing every month at Clyde's of Chevy Chase in Washington DC.
The Wammie-nominated Crimestoppers play a combination of blues, classic rock and roll, and newer alt-rock selections. Their flexible styles and broad range of covers makes them ideal for all kinds of venues and parties. They can play with the best of the blues bands, and be equally at home in the classic, alternative, and jam-band scene.
Guaranteed to please, both from a listening and revenue per seat perspective, the band has played every club that no longer exists in the Mid-Atlantic area, including: The Bayou, The Wax Museum, The Psychedelly, Club Saba/Roxy, The Gentry, Hunters, The Mineshaft (Charlottesville VA), The Carolinian (Nagshead NC), and many more that we no longer remember (hey, 27 years is a long time!).
Recent appearances include Delaware State Music Festival, The Globe 94.7-sponsored Pentagon 10M race (Three years in a row!), Clyde’s of Chevy Chase, Old Anglers Inn, Rockville Town Center, VisArts of Rockville, Star Diner, Bangkok Blues, Jays Saloon, Fast Eddies Blues Room, Rodeo, Outta the Way Café, and Chick Hall’s Surf Club, along with a regular schedule of private and corporate events.
