STILL ROCKS THE HOUSE
Don't let the name fool you. Great blues music may be the mainstay of this local Inland Empire band from the Chino/Montclair area, but they're just as good a rock 'n roll band as you'll find in these parts. Throw in some country music, and what you get is an eclectic mix of tunes pleasing even the most diverse of crowds for well over a decade.
Between gigs in LA & Orange County at venues like BB Kings & Johnny Foxes and jaunts up to the high desert to joints like The Motherlode and The Desert Fox, the Bottle-A-Blooze Band can usually be found at Angel's Roadhouse in Yucaipa, The Etiwanda Roadhouse in Rancho Cucamonga, here locally at Janie's Sport Bar, Montclair - The Screamin' Chicken in Devore or The Back Door in Pomona to name just a few.
The Bottle-A-Blooze Band is comprised of four members: Tommy Matranga, Lead/Rhythm Guitar; Denny Mayer, Bass Guitar; Bob McEvilly, Drums and the band's original founder Larry Balicki, Lead/Rhythm Guitar. They've been scattered throughout the Inland Empire playing gigs since they were originally established in 1987. All four musicians sing lead and back-up vocals.
"When the Bottle-a-Blooze Band performs here, there's always lots of excitement. They're terrific entertainers and very accomplished musicians," adds Kevin Lovelady, GM at Angel's – formerly Crossroads. "This band has found a new home right here with us. They always draw big crowds and are well received by the regulars & newcomers alike on our outdoor stage or at the indoor bar."
So, if it's some really great Eric Clapton or Stevie Ray Vaughn covers - Stones, Creedence or Chuck Berry – or just some good old Johnny Cash - check these guys out…and you'll see why a great mix of live blues and rock n'roll music is still very alive and well anywhere you see the BOTTLE-A-BLOOZE Band's name on the marquee!
Please note The Bottle-A-Blooze Band will also travel to Chino Hills, Ontario, Montclair, Pomona, Claremont, Guasti, Upland, Corona, Diamond Bar, La Verne, Rancho Cucamonga, Alta Loma, Brea, Mira Loma, Norco, San Dimas, Walnut, Yorba Linda, Anaheim, Covina.
