Kerry and the Keepers Cover Band from Kirkland, WA

Kerry and the Keepers is an original and cover band performing covers from many decades including the 50s, 60, 70s, 80s, to today! We also perform some original music that is Americana in style (blues, rock, country). The majority of our music is covers, and we can perform only covers if requested. If we don't know it, and you want a song at your event, we will learn it! Kerry and the Keepers is fronted by Kerry O'Connor, vocalist and keyboardist. She has 20 years of performing experience in many genres of music and is an accomplished and talented vocalist with an impressive range. She has been compared to singers such as Janis Joplin, Eva Cassidy, and Grace Slick. Kerry is also no stranger to the keys. She has been a professional pianist for over 25 years and has excelled in many genres including classical and jazz. However, in this band you might see her emulating greats such as Elton John, Jerry Lee Lewis, or Carole King. By day she is a sought after piano teacher and vocal coach, as well as a composer and arranger. Check out her solo EP on iTunes entitled "Vixen". The Keepers are just that! Three talented instrumentalists and singers with an impressive list of musical accomplishments under their belts. On lead guitar is Thomas Atwood, also providing harmony and sometimes lead vocals. Tom is an amazing improviser, but can play nearly any song at the drop of a hat in any key from any genre! On bass is John King, with an amazing tenor voice, he is able to lay down a solid groove while providing spot on harmonies. On drums is Donn Garrett. Donn has performed in venues around the Seattle area for 30 years with some of the area's best musicians. He is also an amazing singer and has recorded his own LP. Kerry and the Keepers are professional, on time, accomplished, and a tight band who pride themselves on providing a great and energetic show for whatever venue or event for which they are hired. Also ask us about providing music for cocktail hours (instrumental jazz), and also ceremony music for weddings! Kerry is also an experienced wedding musician playing in over over 75 wedding ceremonies. Any style from classical, folk, country, pop, you name it!
