Roundabout is an exciting 5 piece band playing Country, classic rock, Southern Rock, Bluegrass and all your favorites. The band ROUNDABOUT keeps the dance floor full and the party rocking all night! Down to earth and friendly. We'll even DJ your event if you need.
We play all over Colorado and Utah. There is nowhere we won't go.
Book for one night or several.
Having a five piece band, well actually seven, we are able to play a wide verity of Country, Rock and Blues songs that a lot of bands just don't have the chops to produce. The keyboards and pedal steel combined with violin and the standard drums, bass and guitar means the music is never boring.
Johny Carson has been playing in bands for over 20 years and even though he is the new guy he has been the foundation of our new exciting sound. Johny plays the Keyboards, Pedal Steel, Mandolin and Harmonica. He can make almost any sound.
Nathan Woodbird is our ace in the hole! Fantastic lead guitar chops and a very good singer to boot.
Doug Wigent started playing guitar in High school because as he says "I sucked at sports and the only way I was going to get a date was to learn to play guitar". I guess it worked because he has a great family now. Doug has that classic country voice that reminds one of Hank Williams. He is also the band joker. Always a quick wit.
Chris Pahler started on the drum line in marching band in high school and then on to a hard rock band for several years. He didn't ever think he would be playing country music. But his metal background makes our country and classic rock songs come alive. He is a very exciting drummer.
Steve "Big Daddy" Johnson has played bass and sang since he was a young kid. As his father was a preacher he and his siblings were required to sing and learn harmonies. Can you say sounds like Waylen, Hank Jr, Charlie Daniels and Haggard all rolled into one? Yea it's that good. Steve can sing the hardest blues one moment and then the softest love song the next. I'm thinking multiple personalities!
With all this experience melding into one band it is no wonder that Roundabout has fast become the "Go to" band in Colorado.
Recently Roundabout has opened for Aaron Tippon, Little Texas, The Bellemy Brothers and Collin Raye
