Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on August 20, 2013From Sunrise Beach, MO

Ed and the band did a great job with my husband's 50th birthday party at the Lake of the Ozarks. It was an outside venue and they accomodated our needs very well. They have an extensive song list and provided lots of crowd pleasing music for our dancers and listeners. We enjoyed having them and will definitely invite them back to our next party.

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on May 29, 2013From Boonville, MO

We hired Ed White & Next of Kin for our wedding reception. Having a live band and the right band was the most important thing for our wedding plans, and this band exceeded every expectation. They were perfect for a wedding reception. Our guests packed the dance floor all night! It made us so happy to see all of our guests dancing and singing along, with huge smiles on their faces. Our guests even asked them to play an extra set at the end. This band knows the right songs to play for a wedding, and they sound great as well. Besides great music and a great sound, they are so agreeable to work with. They made all of our wedding reception dreams come true.

Hiring a band over the internet is always a gamble but Ed White and the Next of Kin Band turned out to be a good choice. They were on time and played a good mix of songs which fit my crowd. I wasn't able to see much of their performance but what I did hear and see was good and those I talked to enjoyed their performance. I would use them again.

Private PartyReviewed on April 17, 2012From Nashville, TN

We had a club party with about 190 attendees. Dinner and Dancing. Ed was the best! We had a brief visit about a month before the party to review the venue, and location for the band, and made plans for rain or good weather. They arrived early and ready to play. Made adjustments as needed. and played for nearly four hours with two ro three 10-min breaks! Great value band! Engaged the audience and the dancers. Wide variety of songs, styles, and tempo! All the folks left tired and happy! We will have them back in the future. Very satisfied! A+++

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on September 11, 2011From Toone, TN

There are not enough words to explain how much we enjoyed Ed White and the Next of Kin! They had the whole crowd singing and requesting songs until the time they left. There was a mess up with the cd I had prepared for my bridal party to walk out to and I asked if the gentleman on the keyboard knew the songs and he actually ended up playing them better than the original artist on my cd! This is a talented group and we hope to have them back for another performance soon. If you are looking for a great band and a good time, this is the pick!!! Community EventReviewed on September 27, 2008From Cleveland, TN

We received numerous favorable comments on The Next of Kin's performance with the general consensus being "they rocked". Their musicanship was excellent and they crossed from country-rock to the 60's and back again without a miss. They had a great playlist to choose from allowing them to have something for everyone. We recommened them to anyone looking for a solid performance and good music.

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on November 18, 2006From Blue Ridge, GA

What a great time we had. The band was fabulous. They were everything that we were looking for. My Dad (the birthday boy) was really suprised and had a great time. Their play list was exactly what we had hoped for. The band members were very friendly and fun to hang out with. We are looking forward to hiring them again within the next year for a spring party and can't wait. I will highly recommend this band to friends and family members for any event. Thanks guys, you were superb!!!

Private PartyReviewed on May 6, 2006From Atlanta, ID

Both the band and their management were extremely professional and accommodating to our requests as we worked towards the Big Day. They visited our site and did a walk-thru deciding where to place equipment, location of outlets etc. Once on stage, we were sure we'd chosen the right group - the band was great! They were very professional and gladly played the host's favorite song to his heart's content (at least 4 or more times). They were a real crowd pleaser, in fact, we've already hired them for an encore performance. We highly reccommend "Next of Kin"!!!
