MEMBER SINCE 2006
$500 - $8000
One of the best Country/Rock bands out of southern NH that will have you up and dancin' all night long with phenomenal Female and Male lead vocalists covering a great mix of Classic Rock & New Rockin' Country. We can also do an all country show or an all rock show.
Sharp Curve has become one of the most requested Country/Rock bands in New Hampshire. The band is tight and their vocals are hot!
Their greatest moment would have to be when they were filmed during their practice, as they performed a few of their original songs, by the MTV film crew for an upcoming reality show on the MTV music channel due to air in June 2006. Another memorable moment for the band was in 2005 when their lead singers won NH Country Music Association awards. JC Layne won Most Promising NHCMA Female Entertainer of the Year 2005. She was also one of the 4 finalists in NH Karaoke Idol contest which began with over 60 of the area's best karaoke singers. Jim Burgan won NHCMA Male Vocalist of the Year 2005 Traditional and NHCMA Rising Star Vocalist of the Year 2005 for New Country. Jim was also one of the 10 finalists in the Colgate Country Showdown 2005.
Sharp Curve has turned heads at many big events such as; Waterboro Old Home Days in Waterboro Maine (2004, 2005 & 2006) where seats quickly filled up and stayed filled as Sharp Curve hit the stage, the crowd was pleased at Hancock NH Old Home Days celebration in 2006 and many said "You are the best band we've ever had in this town!", they were the Headline band (as Midnight Bandits at the time)at the Hillsborough County Fair 2005. The band drew a record breaking crowd and were interviewed for the local newspaper at the Concert on the Common series in Rochester, NH. They were absolutely honored to be the Headline band at the New Hampshire Country Music Association Awards Show 2005 held at the Palace Theater in Manchester, NH, they also played at the dinner banquet following the awards show. They performed in front of hundreds of college students at the Keene State College Fall Fest 2005 and have shared the stage with other fine performers for Laurie's Ride 2006 (cancer benefit) and a Victims of Katrina Relief Benefit, and the list goes on. The audience enjoys them because they play many styles of music… classic rock, new country, oldies, some blues, a little pop, some kids songs and more . They always get the crowd dancing and will continue to entertain audiences for years to come.
