Bill Brooks Acoustic Guitarist from Seminole, FL

Bill Brooks was born in the Appalachian foothills of rural southeastern Ohio where music and the gospel were a way of life. At age 14 Brooks had his first paying gig while fronting a rock band ' The Beyond-Within '. He has performed in front of large audiences and for just a few folks. In 2002, Bill turned his will and his life over to the care of God Almighty. He now sings a new song dedicated to the Lord. An accomplished singer/ songwriter, in 2005 Brooks released a cd, ' My Home Is Ohio ', and in 2006 released Let Jesus In. Brooks' music covers a variety of genre's from Christian country, country/mountain gospel,folk and traditional country and he possesses a rich, baritone voice. He has also done some studio work singing backup on other artists cd's. He likes to say, ' I'm a country boy to the bone. I grew up on folk, bluegrass and gospel music. I've played in rock and country bands. I have performed solo and as a duo. Guess you can say, I'm a little bit of everything. I am a Christian. Whether I'm performing at a secular or a Christian event, my Christian teachings guide me into music I perform and the music I write......'. These days I do not travel with any sound system. Any venue where I perform a system will be needed. However I always carry my own mics and cables. I am currently, as of August 1, 2007, in the middle of a midwest/ east and southern tour and will be in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Alabama and return to Florida November 12.
