Matt Rouch, winner of the Vertex Musical Championships' “Best in Class for Strings” award, brings his unique style of country music to Colorado. His band most recently won 303 Magazine's Award for Best Country Band in Denver.
Rouch, a self-proclaimed southpaw whiskey-loving Virginian, self-released his first full-length solo album, "The Beautiful and the Damned" in March 2016 and now his 4-piece alt-country folk group is one of Denver's fastest up and coming bands, with mentions in Music Connection Magazine, Denver Post, Marquee Magazine, Scene Magazine, and Axs.
Matt and his band have also played some of Denver's premiere venues like the Gothic, Bluebird and Summit Music Hall, as well as top Colorado venues like Belly-Up Aspen, The Caribou Room in Nederland, and the Gold Room in Colorado Springs, alongside some top acts like Pat Green, Pokey LaFarge, Cowboy Mouth, Will Hoge, Lindi Ortega, Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys, CAAMP, Mipso, Gypsy Moon, Dust Bowl Revival, BJ Barham, Jared and the Mill, and Eric Lindell.
“With a smooth delivery, Colorado folk-country singer, Matt Rouch is a perfect blend of James Taylor and Fleet Foxes”
