He was extremely rude to myself and the rest of the party

I was vaguely aware that at one point you were in back of me as I was drawing your guests all of whom were giving me great feedback (and tips). CARICATURES by STEVE was the perfect addition to our company picnic. He was flexible and agreed to stay an extra hour so everyone could have a turn. Both young and old enjoyed the experience and the souvenir picture to bring home.

From the time of booking until the end of the event, Steve was most professional and accommodating through the entire process. He was fun, fast, (we had a lot of drawings to do in 3 hours), very talented, and I recommend him highly.

Steve was the highlight of my party!! He worked very hard and non stop the entire time. My guest loved him and are still raving about their drawings they got to take home! I highly recommend hiring Steve for your special event!! I would definitely use him again!

Steve was good and on time. He worked fast and everyone got their picture drawn that wanted to. Some of my guests commented that a lot of the drawing looked the same. There are only two things that bothered me. One I couldn't get in touch with him before the event. I left text messages and emails, and only got a last minute response. I was a little worried if he would come. And the second and most important. I paid the $100 deposit. His advertisement said 100-125hr. I booked him for two hours. At the end of the wedding I asked what my balance was and he said it was 480$ (supposed to cover gas and hotel) which he didn't provide receipts for ;( So I was shocked!

some mis communication here, I don't recall being asked to provide receipts since i quoted a flat fee for travel and hotel and did not know what the final cost would be till it was over. see original quote. Also, she only paid me half of my fee at the event and I had to bill her for the remainder. not a problem, but again not what i had expected. A reminder to be clearer and leave a paper trail. Steve was admitted to the hospital the day before the wedding for a possible heart attack. He called as soon as he could to let us know that he would not be able to make it and was very professional and apologetic. He also refunded the deposit. I would recommend Steve because he was very professional and I am sure had we seen his show he would have been awesome!

Steve was a hit with my wedding guest! He accommodated my request by customizing his paper with my wedding logo, which gave my guest a personal wedding favor. My only concern was that I wished he would have finished up the last two couples who waited in line for some time before he wrapped up or maybe he could have closed the line earlier so that he could have finished everyone who waited in line.
