Jeremy, born and raised in the area of Topeka, Kansas, was introduced to Danny, a native son of Orlando, Florida, by a mutual friend when the two of them were in Nashville seeking direction for their respective musical careers. Their personalities and musical styles clicked, and soon Jeremy and Danny were playing and writing music together. Thomas/Marx was born.
