Keeping the dance hall tradition alive with classic country music, The Pearl Snaps have fans two-stepping on dance floors all over Central Texas. This real honky-tonk band, musically inspired by greats like Hank, Patsy, Loretta, Merle, Waylon, Willie and more, thrills music lovers with old favorites that will never be forgotten. The seven-piece band features five vocalists, tight harmonies, generous variety, and original music that captures the beloved American genre that is foundational to today's country music. Saloon-style honky-tonk piano, smooth sliding tones of pedal steel, melodic lead guitar, harmonica, accordion, tambourine and a driving dance beat makes it impossible to stay in your seat. The Pearl Snaps play monthly at the historic Cotton Club, in addition to famous venues like Mercer Street Dance Hall, The Broken Spoke, Twin Sisters Dance Hall, London Dance Hall, Rodeo Austin, The RoundUp, county fairs, Poodies Roadhouse and more.
The Pearl Snaps are frequently booked to play corporate events and private parties. The band members dress up for the occasion with matching pearl snaps shirts, and of course darling dresses on the female lead singer that hearken back to Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. Audiences enjoy the classy show appropriate for all ages. Whether it's a quiet dinner event, wedding reception, or rowdy outdoor rodeo, The Pearl Snaps can fit the bill perfectly.
The band works closely with event planners to make sure clients get exactly what they want. The band can provide song sets lists in advance, as well as accommodate special song requests. All members are professionals with life-long experience playing music, arrive on time, sober, smiling and ready to deliver an outstanding, upbeat show. Profanity or inappropriate behavior is never part of the show. We keep it clean and fun!
The Pearl Snaps own a state-of-the-art PA system that can accommodate most venues and events. The band can complete set up and tear down of all sound equipment. A microphone and sound can also be provided for events where a speaker will address an audience. The band also has plenty of experience in working with house sound engineers and stage managers.
