Sawdust Road Country Band from Houston, TX

Sawdust Road is "Not your mama's country music!" A 6-piece progressive country band out of Houston, Texas, it is built around the powerhouse vocals of Mary Michelle. With a range from the most tender ballad to all-out rockin' funky country, her voice must be heard to be appreciated. Not content just to have a stock backing band, Michelle has assembled a cast of musicians with impressive resumes by anyone's standards! These credits include gold records, stints in national recording acts, appearances on national TV, national tours, and performances at major venues and events including the NAMM convention, Texas State Fair, and opening gigs for label acts too numerous to mention. Their songs evoke a feel-good 70's vibe with a country rock flair; listen and judge for yourself! Our music is being played in regular rotation on FM and Internet stations and within countries such as Australia, Austria, New Zealand, Ireland, France and Denmark. It is also gaining a huge fan base in New York, the east coast and Tennessee just to mentioned a few. We are playing the 2015 CMA FESTIVAL in Tennessee and have television appearances in the near future.
