Absolutely amazing time with Chris and his band! When planning our wedding, we wanted a band that was fun but did not feel like a typical "wedding band". Boy did Chris and his band make that happen! Communicating with him was always easy and he was very responsive to all our questions. The day of the wedding, Chris and his guys were ready to go. We continue to receive messages from our wedding guest about how much fun the band was. They absolutely blew it out of the water. I'm not sure how soon we will need another band for an event, but I can guarantee Chris will be the first call we make! 100% would recommend to anyone having an event & looking for a great band!

We went and saw The Speakeasy in Oxford, MS for a preview and hired them on the spot! This is a wonderful band that plays a lot of different types of music and will even learn specific songs if you want them played at your event. Chris Winward, the lead singer and guitarist, is the person we dealt with and he is wonderful!! He is very personable and professional but also laid back. Everyone who attended our daughter's wedding had great things to say about The Speakeasy. We would definitely recommend The Speakeasy for your next event! We plan to go hear them when they play nearby again and suggest you check their schedule and do the same! You won't be disappointed!

Had a fantastic experience with Chris and his band. Low maintenance crew with amazing sound. Felt like we walked in to a event . They even stayed a bit longer than first requested. Guitarist can really jam , would recommend this group to anyone that wants a great lively wedding.

Chris and his guys were absolutely phenomenal on our wedding night. We couldn't have asked for a better performance on our big night, as well as the communication leading up to it. Chris is always available and is accommodating for all requests. Not only were they entertaining, but Chris did a great job assisting with ceremony music, and announcing the wedding party. The band understood the formal aspect of the wedding, but knew exactly when to take the entertainment to another level. They played a huge part in making our ceremony and reception a memorable one. I would recommend them to anyone!

I could not be happier with my experience with The Speakeasy. They were the entertainment at my wedding reception and it was an absolute BLAST! Not only are they all extremely talented, the band leader Chris was a professional businessman. He stayed in touch with me throughout the whole process and was very responsive with questions. They showed up 4 hours before the ceremony started to make sure the sound and setting was perfect. We danced and partied all night long. They even let my dad play a few songs with them! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a band for their wedding or any event. Such a great experience... happy guests, happy bride and groom!

The Chris Winward Band performed at my wedding reception and were amazing! They were so entertaining (a crowd of almost 300) and interactive (I even danced/sang up there along side them, ha!). I received many compliments about their performance! More importantly to me, they were very accommodating. After a last minute date change to December 21st, right at the holidays, Chris reassured me they would be there and that it was not a problem! What a blessing! Chris is SO friendly and quick to return an email, call, or text. I highly recommend them for any occasion large or small. They will tailor to your needs and carry out any request. They were a delight to work with!
