Michele Durante Comedian from New York City, NY

A retired New York City Detective, Michele hit the New York City comedy club scene and quickly made a name for herself.  She's appeared at Dangerfield's;  The Comic Strip Live and Stand Up NY in NYC.   Opening for headliners at "The Crown & Anchor," in Provincetown, MA.   Michele was hand picked to appear in the Boston Comedy Festival in 2012 & 2013; she has entertained audiences in Austin, TX; North Carolina and Chicago, and Las Vegas.   Her  credits include  MTV & PBS and WKTU 103.5 in NYC After graduating from "The School of Visual Arts" in New York City, Michele served as a New York City Police Detective in the South Bronx, NY. After retiring, she attended "Stand Up University" taught by Peter Bales, Rich Walker, and Steve Lazarus on Long Island, NY to pursue her dream of stand up comedy. Michele currently performs in comedy clubs corporate & private functions and benefit shows across the country. Combining her experiences as a Detective with the New York Police Department and her edgy humor connects with audiences everywhere. Michele lives on Long Island surrounded by her very supporitve family and friends and her very spoiled dogs Lucy & Rags.
