Gains is a good 'ol boy(1) sometimes called a redneck(2) from a really small town(3) in Oklahoma, which is where the roots of his blue-collar style of comedy come from. This redneck(2) has a likeable delivery and easy to listen to style paced for lots of BIG laughs. Topics range from divorce and family, friends, dating fluffy girls(4), the homeless, and a really unfortunate demise of a pony. Audiences, young and old alike, enjoy and relate to his material. Gains has been on the road for the last five years and is working clubs, bars, VFW's and Elks Lodges from coast to coast. He was a finalist in the Gulf South Comedy Challenge in New Orleans in the Fall of 2009. In the Spring of 2009 he was invited to participate in Yuk Yuk's Great Canadian Laugh Off in Toronto Canada making him an International Comedian.
Gains is also part of the Branson Comedy All-stars, which is a non-profit organization raising money for abused children and other charities.

(1) Good ol' boy is a slang term used in the United States, either to self-identify as or to refer to a male, usually white and of Northern/Western-European descent, who lives in a rural area and/or subscribes to a traditionally "rural" lifestyle. The term is generally thought to originate in the rural areas of the southern and southwestern U.S. While other terms such as redneck, hick, yokel, "Bubba", and "white trash" are also applied, though usually pejoratively and are often interchanged with "good ol' boy," the "good ol' boy" is more of an idealized image of rural Americans.

(2) Redneck is a disparaging term that refers to a person who is stereotypically Caucasian and of lower social-economic status in the United States, particularly referring to those living in rural areas. Originally limited to the Southern United States, the term has become widely used throughout North America.

(3) Shidler is a city in Osage County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 520 at the 2000 census. Shidler is located at 36°46'49?N 96°39'43?W? / ?36.78028°N 96.66194°W? / 36.78028; -96.66194 (36.780342, -96.661844)
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.0 km²), all of it land.

(4) Typically a female whom you see walking around in a bigger stature, enjoys drinking beer, has the tolerance level of an elephant, does not like to be touched unless extremely intoxicated, has an insationable hunger for life, is very sociable, and has mastered the art of creeping via facebook.

This was a company event. Mr. Kelly consistently used inappropriate language that was offensive to many under these circumstances. The routine may have been perfect for a comedy club, but not in this case. He was however, on time, friendly and personable although he couldn't seem to remember my name (the person who booked and paid for him).
