My name is DJ Mick Uranko and the owner of Uranko Productions - a full time professional award winning DJ entertainment, event planning, lighting design, and Photo Booth Company based out of Pottsville PA. I have been awarded the Best Wedding DJ for the second year in a row for Northeastern Pennsylvania from The Knot. When I am not producing the best wedding reception that you've ever attended, I am headlining clubs throughout the East Coast. My style consists open format DJ which allows me to mix different genres of music from different decades. I also work as a career Firefighter for the Washington DC Fire Department. We have a very unique work schedule that allows myself to run Uranko Productions full time and still reside in Pennsylvania. The furthest wedding reception that we had in 2015 was in Simsbury Connecticut and my furthest Club Gig was in Roanoke Virginia. I am a 2004 graduate from the Virginia Military Institute with a degree in Civil Engineering, and I served nine years in the Army Reserves achieving the rank of Captain. I have a very interesting background which has definitely played a key role in defining my fun loving, enthusiastic, and professional personality.
