Clumzy And His Unicycle Clown from Rockaway, NJ

I'm an Entertainer! Whether I am playing with my 5 year old son, hanging out with friends or at work, I love to make people laugh. I inherited my skills of ad lib humor from my dad. When I was 13, I spent $2.00 on balloons and learned from my neighbor Mr Houck how to make simple animal balloons. When I was 15, I bought a unicycle from my friend Dana. I never knew I would someday put these skills to use! My career as an Engineer...and then Pastor... are both very serious professions. My best friend offered me the chance to work for his clowning business fifteen years ago. I thought I'd give it a try, and was quickly hooked! It's a great outlet for my humor and creativity...it's a job I ENJOY doing...and provides some extra income. When I ride into a party on my unicycle, the fun begins. Most of my silly humor is ad lib - it just comes naturally. This adds a unique element of fun that increases my "play value" as a clown (that's a term I learned while working for Mattel Toys!) My basic party includes making balloon animals, followed by face painting and then an interactive magic show. When there is extra time, we play with rocket balloons that flutter and fly up to 50 feet in the air. I also give every child a punch balloon to play with. My 3 goals are to make the birthday child the star of the event, keep all the children happy and let the parents enjoy socializing with their friends.
