Allison M. McNeal Violinist from New York City, NY

Allison McNeal, a native New Yorker, started violin at age four. Her musical studies took her to Mannes where she attended the Pre-College for 10 years, Hartford, where she received her Bachelors in Violin Performance from the Hartt School of Music, Summa Cum Laude, and Boston where she received her Masters in Violin Performance from Boston Conservatory. A dedicated teacher and performer, Allison currently teaches at Turtle Bay Music School in addition to performing around the city. She has been the recipient of a number of awards including the Douglas Cox Violin Scholarship, the Boston Conservatory Award, and the Hartt Performing Arts Scholarship. Allison has played with several orchestras including the Harlem Symphony Orchestra, One World Symphony and Spectrum Symphony. Allison has played at numerous events and always enjoys doing so. Her top priority is making certain that everything goes smoothly and that her clients don't have anything to worry about (at least as far as music is concerned!) on the day of their event. Allison is always happy to meet new clients and looks forward to speaking with you!
