Coleen and her group really added that little extra something and holiday cheer to our unconventional dinner/dance performance. They were professional, timely (even despite the snowy weather!), and their arrangement of Tchiakovsky's Arabian Dance really helped to set the tone of the dance! Our dancers were thrilled to work with live musicians and we are thankful to have worked with OhioStrings4Hire.

Colleen and 3 other musicians played beautifully during dinner and for our ceremony. I asked Colleen just the day before if they would also play during dinner and they readily fulfilled my request. I rate ohio strings for hire 5 stars for professionalism and talent. They really brought magic and the right touch to my wedding. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

On the arranging of the "String Quartet" there were no issues. Accommodating. One party of the "Quartet" attended the rehearsal to establish timing...etc. We hired a string quartet for my daughter's wedding social time before reception and only 3 people showed up and one played french horn. This was not a string quartet and the talent was poor. No description can be made on their poor performance. Although the wedding was beautiful, the music for the ceremony and social time left a lot to be desired, and I am being kind. We searched a year in advance and could not find an available quartet from local colleges...etc. Now I know why this group was available.

I am sorry that due to a 1/2 change in start time by the booking client I was unable to have a forth person to join us. Further
My horn player was playing viola the entire time until the exit of the Bride to Trumper tune. This was a bonus for someone to provide two instruments.
I. Am sad to hear you did not find our playing great. For the cocktail hour we had to compete with a band DJ next door through a non sound proof wall.

Coleen and her group are AMAZING! Quick to respond, helpful, can play literally anything you want. Appropriately priced. And she even came to the rehearsal on her own accord to ensure timing would be right. Highly highly recommend.
