Vincent can tailor his performance to your requirements with the flexibility to create various moods; a sophisticated guitar ambiance for dinners and low key events, or beautiful guitar renditions of traditional wedding music to accompany the various stages of the wedding ceremony and reception.
Vincent Turner began classical guitar instruction at age seven under Spencer Gremmer, using the Suzuki Method. In past years, Vincent studied briefly under Prof. Adam Holzman at the University of Texas, and then transitioned to Dr. Matthew Hinsley, Executive Director, of the Austin Classical Guitar Society. Under Dr. Matthew Hinsley, Vincent consecutively earned 4th place ('07, Los Angeles, CA) then 3rd place ('08, San Francisco, CA) in the Guitar Foundation of America international youth competition, in addition to 2nd place ('08, Dallas, TX) in the youth division of the Eastfield Collegiate Guitar Competition. Vincent performed as a guest guitarist for the University of the Pan American Guitar Music Festival and competition ('11, Edinburg, TX), and won a Young Masters scholarship from Texas Commission on the Arts ('10, Austin, TX), as one of two guitarists chosen in Texas. The Young Masters award allowed him the opportunity to travel to New Milford, Connecticut to study with renowned guitarists Martha Masters and Bruce Holzman at the National Guitar Workshop. He has had master classes with Paul Galbraith (Scotland), Thomas Viloteau (France), Isaac Bustos (USA), Berta Rojas (Paraguay), Duo Melis (Spain, Greece), SoloDuo (Italy), Xuefei Yang (China), and David Russell (Spain).
